Wi-Fi QR code generator
Guests scan the code with their camera and join your network in a tap. No spelling out a long password.
Made in your browser. What you type is never sent to us.
A logo makes the code busier, so always test-scan before you print.
Your code appears here
Static codes never expire and never need an account. Once printed, the content cannot be changed.
How to make a QR code for Wi-Fi
- Type your network name exactly as it appears on your router, including capital letters.
- Add the password and pick the security type. Most home and office networks use WPA.
- Download the PNG or SVG and print it, or put it on a card by the till or in the guest room.
Tips that save a reprint
- Use a guest network, not your main one, so visitors never share a network with your own devices.
- If you change the Wi-Fi password later, the printed code stops working. A new code is needed.
- Frame it at eye level near where people sit. Test with an iPhone and an Android phone before you print many.
Questions
Is my Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?
No. The code is drawn in your browser. The network name and password are never sent to our servers.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Most current iPhones and Android phones read Wi-Fi codes with the built-in camera. Very old phones may need a scanner app.
Can I change the password later?
A Wi-Fi code holds the password itself, so it cannot be edited after printing. Make a new code if the password changes.
