Does this picture say it was made with AI? Find out in seconds from the labels inside the file.
Private: your images never leave your device.
Most AI image tools now write a label into the file: Content Credentials (C2PA), an IPTC digital source type of "trained algorithmic media", or the prompt and settings in a PNG. The tool reads those labels. It does not guess from the pixels.
Not necessarily. Screenshots, chat apps and many websites remove metadata. A clean file only means the file does not say where it came from.
An open standard backed by Adobe, Google, OpenAI, Microsoft and camera makers. It attaches a signed record of how a picture was made and edited. The tool reads that record; for a full signature check use contentcredentials.org/verify.
No tool outside Google can. SynthID is hidden in the pixels. Upload the picture to the Gemini app and ask whether it was made with Google AI.
Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest read C2PA and IPTC labels and show an AI or Content Credentials badge. The Upload labels tab shows what is likely for your file. If your image is realistic and made with AI, the platforms ask you to disclose it anyway.
Your images are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded, so they stay private and there is no file size wait.

Book a free strategy callThe AI Image Checker looks inside an image for AI labels, Content Credentials (C2PA) and EXIF data that show how it was made. It reads what the file says about itself. It cannot prove a picture is real or fake on its own.
Most tools here run inside your browser. The file is opened on your own device and the result is made there too, so it is never uploaded to our servers. That makes them safe for contracts, IDs, payslips and client files, and they keep working on slow connections because nothing large is sent. Photos often hold your location and camera details, so editing them on your device is the private choice. Many tools handle a batch of images at once and give you a ZIP.
