Questions

How do I resize without stretching the picture?

Keep the proportions box ticked and give only a width or a height. The other side is worked out for you. For social sizes, choose to fill and crop the edges or to fit the whole picture with plain bars.

What size should an Instagram or YouTube image be?

Instagram feed posts are 1080 x 1080 (square) or 1080 x 1350 (portrait). A YouTube thumbnail is 1280 x 720. These and ten more are in the preset list.

Can I make an image bigger?

You can, but the tool cannot add detail that was never there, so enlarged pictures look soft.

Are my images uploaded?

Your images are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded, so they stay private and there is no file size wait.

Tips for a better result

Private image editing, no upload

Most tools here run inside your browser. The file is opened on your own device and the result is made there too, so it is never uploaded to our servers. That makes them safe for contracts, IDs, payslips and client files, and they keep working on slow connections because nothing large is sent. Photos often hold your location and camera details, so editing them on your device is the private choice. Many tools handle a batch of images at once and give you a ZIP.
