Is the free generator really free?

Yes. Static codes are free, unlimited, need no account and never expire. They are made in your browser, so what you type is never sent to us.

What is a dynamic QR code?

The printed code holds a short link that we host. Where that link goes can be changed any time, so a printed menu, poster or card never has to be reprinted. We also count the scans.

What happens to my printed codes if I stop paying?

They keep working for 60 days after your plan ends, so nothing breaks overnight. After that, codes beyond the free allowance are paused, never deleted. Switch the plan back on and they work again.

Can a dynamic code be used for scams?

Every destination is checked when it is saved, link shorteners and private addresses are refused, and anyone can report a code. Three reports pause it until a person reviews it.

Do you track the people who scan?

We count scans and note the country, city, device and browser. We do not store IP addresses, and we do not follow anyone from one day to the next.
