Questions

Which sharpness should I choose?

150 dpi is good for screens and sharing. 300 dpi suits printing but makes bigger files. 72 dpi is small and fine for thumbnails.

Will I get one image per page?

Yes. Several pages come as a ZIP of numbered images.

Should I pick JPG or PNG?

JPG is smaller and good for pages with photos. PNG is sharper for text and line art, but larger.

What if my PDF has a password?

Files protected with a password cannot be opened by this tool. Remove the password in the program that made the file, save a copy, and try again.

Is my PDF uploaded?

Your PDF is processed in your browser. It is not uploaded, so it stays private.

Tips for a better result

Why a browser PDF tool is safer

Most tools here run inside your browser. The file is opened on your own device and the result is made there too, so it is never uploaded to our servers. That makes them safe for contracts, IDs, payslips and client files, and they keep working on slow connections because nothing large is sent. You also do not need to install software or create an account. Every tool saves a new copy, so your original file stays exactly as it was.
