Questions

How do I write page ranges?

Use commas between files and a dash for a run of pages, for example 1-3, 4-6, 7-. Each group becomes its own PDF. A dash with no end means up to the last page.

How do I get just some pages in one file?

Use the Extract PDF Pages tool: click the pages you want and save them as one new PDF.

What if my PDF has a password?

Files protected with a password cannot be opened by this tool. Remove the password in the program that made the file, save a copy, and try again.

Is my PDF uploaded?

Your PDF is processed in your browser. It is not uploaded, so it stays private.

About the Split PDF

To split a PDF, add the file and choose page ranges such as 1-3, 4-6, a split every few pages, or one file per page. You download the parts as a ZIP. Splitting copies the pages as they are, so text stays sharp and searchable.

Tips for a better result

Why a browser PDF tool is safer

Most tools here run inside your browser. The file is opened on your own device and the result is made there too, so it is never uploaded to our servers. That makes them safe for contracts, IDs, payslips and client files, and they keep working on slow connections because nothing large is sent. You also do not need to install software or create an account. Every tool saves a new copy, so your original file stays exactly as it was.
